Next in 2009, Roshni officially joined the HCL Technologies Ltd. After a year of joining, Roshni Nadar got appointed as a executive director and CEO of HCL corporation. Next in July 2020, she became a Chairman of the HCL after her father Shiv Nadar stepped down at the age of 75 years.

Before her position as CEO of HCL, she has served as the trustee of the Shiv Nadar Foundation. Her foundation also runs the not-for-profit Sri Subramaniya Nadar College of Engineering in Chennai.
