Nivetha was born into a small town of Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India. Initially, She raised into a Madurai and after a few years moved to Dubai. Nivetha Pethuraj did her schooling from the Primary School of Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu and Crescent English High School, Dubai, She also did graduation in Human Resource Management from the Heriot-Watt University, Dubai.
Nivetha started her professional career through modeling. She was very passionate about modeling career which led her to the Silver Screen. Nivetha won the title of Miss India UAE among other 15 contestants where she only was Indian. The pageant was held at Al Raha Beach Hotel in Abu Dhabi on 11 April 2015.
In 2015, She moved to shifted to India to made her career in acting. Nivetha Pethuraj did her first acting through the tamil language romantic movie Oru Naal Koothu in 2016. Nivetha played
