In June 2014, Dutee Chand won two gold medal’s at Asian Junior Athletics Championship 200 meters and 400 m relay. She was banned by the Athletic Federation of India.
In 2016, She became eligible to take part in competitions. The same year, She participated in at 2016 Asian Indoor Athletics Championship and won the bronze medal in the final. On 25 June 2016, Dutee Broke the national record twice in one day after clocking 11.24 seconds and the XXVI International Meeting G Kosanov Memorial at Almaty, Kazakhstan.
In 2017, Dutee Chand won two bronze medals, one in the Women’s 100 meters and another one is Women’s 4*100m relay. She received a silver medal in the Women’s 100 meters final at 2018 Asian Games. It was her first Asian Game medal. Also, the same year, Dutee got second silver in Women’s 200 meters final at Asian Games.

- In 2014, Dutee dropped from the 2014 Common Wealth Games due to a statement given by the Athletic Federation of India that, She had the hyperandrogenism (means higher testosterone levels then the permissible limit). So, She was ineligible to participate in national and international events. She appealed the ban in the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS). Later the ban on her was removed by the CAS, citing that there is no evidence that she has higher testosterone level. It was a major win for her to come back again.
