Anant Kumar was born and raised into the village Nadawan, Patna, Bihar. He was born to Hindu family of Chandradeep Singh. Anant Singh

Anant Kumar did his political debut in 2005. He contested and won the Mokama assembly seat on a JDU ticket. Anant Kumar always wanted to help the poor people and not to rich.
